Our team went to Pollutec 2009, the 24th International exhibition of environmental equipment technologies and services. Several innovations, detailed in this report, were noticed in the water and air sectors. Many efforts are made to improve indoor air quality, and technologies such as photocatalysis are still very much looked into. Photocatalysis may be used on its own or together with other technologies such as ionisation, ultra-violet treatement and filtration. Besides, new solutions are being developped to reduce bad smells, VOC and dust. As fas as water is concerned, many efforts are put into industrial waste treatment and sluges valorisation. Some companies propose biotechnological solutions. This is the case of Réalco, a company using enzymes to accelerate the purification process of waste waters..
