Abstract:Our team visisted Pollutec 2009, the 24th International exhibition of environmental equipment technologies and services. The innovations noticed in the « Energy and Climate Changes » sector are reported in this document. Many biofuel production processes have been improved and innovative solutions such as synthesis from micro algae are being developped. An interesting innovation from the Tel Aviv University in the field of photovoltaic cells was noticed. Using biotechnologies allowed them to acheive a conversion rate of 34 %, twice the rate of conventional silicon panels.. (…).
